Are you in the market for a Robot vacuum cleaner? Do a Google search and you will be flooded with more makes and models you would have thought possible. You will find anything from robots connecting to your Wi-Fi and ones that can clean around your socks. To make an informed decision you need to take the following into account: How much are you looking to spend? How low is your furniture? Do you own pets? What surface will it run on? There are many models on the market with very similar functions and functionality but according the my research there are however a few that stand out from the rest.
iLife A4s - This little robot has one of the longest battery lives, cleaning for up to 120 minutes between charges. It also has the amazing feature of cleaning it's own brushes from string, clogs and clumps of hair. It does basic scheduling and has a remote to help navigate it around those tricky corners.
iRobot Roomba 960 - If you are looking for the strongman of robot vacuums, this is the way to go! It scores tops in just about every category from cleaning pet hair to interactive app technology. You can connect it to your smart device, or simply speak to it. It is also one of the most expensive coming in at $599 on Amazon. lf all around functionality and ease of use is important and price is not a factor, this one is the way to go!
Samsung Powerbot R7070 - In one study this robot was found to be the best! It has an app and easily connects to your smart device. It shows on the app where it has cleaned and features the HEPA Filter to remove those unwanted allergens. Technology wise it has the works, and one website even claims it has the easiest dustbin to clean! It is however not one of the prettiest vacuums.
EcoVacs N798 - A real value for money, do-it-all machine. It can be controlled from a remote, smartphone or even by voice command. It is pretty powerful and can run for about 95 minutes between charges. For the features in this robot the price is unbeatable and you can get them from around $250 on Amazon.
Eufy RoboVac 11 - Coming in at an amazing $219 at some stores this one is a real bargain. It lacks many of the features that the more expensive models have like Wi-Fi, but it gets the job done. It can be operated by remote or scheduled for auto cleaning that it will get done in a longer cleaning session and is really easy to set up. It's flat profile, only three inches, also allows it to get under furniture other models can not.
If you want a cost saving quiet robot vacuum this one might be the way to go. All robot vacuums have pros and cons. Weighing up the price against the functionality and features might, in the end be the biggest choice you have to make. All of the robots mentioned above have built in safeguards to prevent them from falling down stairs and also dock themselves when they need to charge. The choice to see which one sucks the most is up to you.
